Tariq Shaheed, a One Economy AmeriCorps*VISTA serving in California, has been able to see how much access to a computer with Internet can impact someone's life first hand. 'Queen Bee' program is life-changing experience

Courtney DuBose, 2009 VISTA Summer Associate, created and facilitated the "Queen Bee in Me" program at The Hive in Bertie County, North Carolina. The program was a great success. To learn more about the program read the article that appeared in the local newspaper, the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald.

On Saturday, November 21, 2009, Kansas City VISTA Thomas Del Greco was in the Kansas City Star. The front page of the local section featured a column titled "AmeriCorps Volunteer Makes Mark on Area" about Thomas and the Kansas City Beehive!
